This is a Workshop for those of you wanting to explore a different side for your brain\, palette and brushes - just amazing opportunity to express a moment - a thought!  \; Ewald \;explains his process - The workshop will be done in two parts: After an introduction we will talk about some painting basics like composition of paintings\, layer techniques\, using brushes\, colors\, and paper etc. First part: experimental expressionistic watercolor painting  \; Using reference fotos we paint landscapes\, buildings\, flowers etc. Second part: experimental abstract watercolor painting I will show you how to begin an abstract painting. Then we paint almost without any given structure. We react on the colors and structures that appear by chance. This will be manly playing with color and form. Therefore\, it will be necessary to analyze the progress of painting continuously and decide individually which step should be done next. \; We take paper\, watercolor and brushes and use in addition fingers\, credit carts\, aluminum foil and so on. Details can be made by using appropriate ink or watercolor pencils. The main goal is to have joy and fun during paining and to create unique and individual artworks. Materials To Bring: Take your own range of colours as you like it! Bring several sheds of paper with which you are used to paint - but please\, you should use rather big formats\, appr. 40 x 50 cm or bigger. Paperweight should be at least 300 g/m2. In addition to some small brushes\, please bring some big ones just as round brushes with appr. 10 mm diameter and flat brushes with appr. 30 mm or more.
