Canson Australia Professional Watercolour Pencil Workshop 
- Exploring Watercolour Pencils -

Learn how to paint using Lyra Aquarelle coloured pencils in your art for stunning effects.

 

In this workshop, Lynette Orzlowski from Canson Australia will demonstrate various water-soluble pencil techniques that make this medium so unique and versatile, from dry pencil layering to different wet applications and stunning effects, 

Students will learn about the properties, uses and mixes of the Lyra Aquarelle Water-soluble pencils, Daler Rowney watercolour inks and Maimeri Blu watercolours, how they mix, intermix perfectly, and how they can bring a contemporary twist to a tradi-tional palette selection. 

Students will then have the opportunity to work at their own pace with guidance by Lynette and with the assistance of a documented step by step instruction handout, during the workshop they will be able to complete up to three abstract & animal stud-ies which encapsulate, colour, design, light & shadow, fur and realistic details.

You can book your Workshop with confidence - knowing that we will refund the Workshop Fee - less $AUD10.00 Booking fee to cover bank and admin charges - provided we are notified in writing via our CONTACT FORM - dated one week prior to the commencement of the Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale - 2023 i.e. 30th August 2023.

Cancellations after this date will be refunded at 50% of the Booking Fee, and at the discretion of the Curator of the Australian Watercolour Muster - Wyn Vogel - depending on the critical circumstances and again notified in writing via our CONTACT FORM - with your phone number and details of the Workshop / Event you are wishing to cancel. A booking fee of $AUD10.00 will be applied to these late cancellations.

 

About the Artist - Lynette ORZLOWSKI

Born in Melbourne, Australia. Lynette’s love of the creative has been a driving force and has such mastered many different mediums and holds a wealth of information on a great number of mediums and substrates. The wonder of colour and light has been a constant inspiration for her now for over three decades of painting.

She has established herself in the art community through solo exhibitions and group shows as a highly respected painter and she is often invited to demonstrate her craft Intrastate, Interstate and Internationally. She has taught painting professionally and privately for well over two decades and her commitment and passion for art is revealed in her involvement in several art societies and committees. Being a sort after art show judge for several select art societies and expos throughout the years.

Lynette’s disciplined approach in her study of the horse has been greatly emphasized by spending countless hours at events, shows and tracing through the sometimes-muddy paddocks. Inspired by what she sees, Lynette then goes back into the studio, transforming them into two – dimensional artworks, all the while putting great emphasis on the technical execution.

Anyone who appreciates classic elegance cannot but be drawn in by what she creates.

In October 2015 Lynette had the opportunity to film an episode with artist & TV presenter Graeme Stevenson from ‘Put some colour in your life’ which aired on free to air TV (4ME) on March 6th, 2016. (Season 12 / Episode 07) is now available for viewing on YouTube.
