Her work now hangs in private and corporate collections around the world.

Artist Statement

Lynette’s artistic practice has been driven from an early age to paint, with a love of animals and a passion for horses.
The paintings are an impressionistic style, though many elements within the works hold true to subtle notations of realism, walking the line between loose movements and textures, to fine detail and anatomical correctness.
Using a wide array of different techniques, mixing the texture and variety of mediums to express an individual body of work.
With the main focus of Lynette's work being to explore the different notions and relations ships between humans and animals, in particular the horse.
This long-standing partnership between man and animal is one of great significance, not only with the everyday but into the realm of fantasy.

With Lynette’s own understanding for this partnership, having resided in the rural outskirts of Victoria, herself being surrounded by the direct importance the roll of the horse still plays in everyday life she is able to draw first hand on this as a major source of inspiration.

About the Artist

Lynette Orzlowski

Born in Melbourne, Australia. Lynette’s love of the creative has been a driving force and has such mastered many different mediums and holds a wealth of information on most mediums and substrates. The wonder of colour and light has been a constant inspiration for her now for over three decades of painting.

She has established herself in the art community through solo exhibitions and group shows as a highly respected painter and she is often invited to demonstrate her craft Interstate and Internationally. She has taught painting professionally and privately for over two decades and her commitment and passion for art is revealed in her involvement in several art societies and committees. She has also been a judge for several select art societies and shows throughout the years.

Lynette’s disciplined approach in her study of the horse has been greatly emphasized by spending countless hours at events, shows and tracing through the sometimes muddy paddocks. Inspired by what she sees, Lynette then goes back in to the studio, transforming them into two – dimensional artworks, all the while putting great emphasis on the technical execution.

Anyone who appreciates classic elegance cannot but be drawn in by what she creates.

In October 2015 Lynette had the opportunity to film an episode with artist & TV presenter Graeme Stevenson from ‘Put some colour in your life’ which aired on free to air TV (4ME) on March 6th, 2016 (Season 12 / Episode 07) now available for viewing on YouTube
