............Watercolour is such a magic medium both for learner and master. As a full time artist, I have more time and energy to discovery some area new, especially on the big size watercolour painting.
Meanwhile portraiture still is the majority theme of my works, I'd like to know and express. I have 2 invited international exhibitions in Moscow and South Korea and other international group exhibition in Europe in coming months.
Following will be 4 part Steps - each of 30-minute to complete your portrait.
After each of Richard's demonstration steps, learners will be given time and supporting instruction to complete their portrait.
step 1: drawing up the shape
step 2: basic tone, skin tone and 3 dimensional
step 3: focusing on the details
step 4: going back to whole picture and do adjustment
Richard will bring some more samples of his portraiture works to display.
The reference for Richards Workshop will be a photo of one of the performers - taken during the celebration of National Day, we will keep this a surprise until the Workshop Day!
