ARTIST NOTES: This painting depicts the grace and style of the Japanese Geisha. Painted in watercolour on a specially prepared canvas using a watercolour ground to accept the medium. It has also elements of watercolour crystals that are somewhat unpredictable in the way they react with the amount of water used.Gold leaf was used to enhance the sash.
