ARTIST BIO

Sarah Field is a Brisbane based emerging artist and pattern designer. Drawing from her childhood as a classical pianist, where she lived in the romantic world of Chopin and Rachmaninov, her expression on the canvas reflects both the delicacy and attention to detail she learnt from classical music. Sarah has been a finalist in the 2024 John Villiers Outback Art Prize, a gallery finalist in the Lethbridge Small Scale Art Awards for 2024, 2023 & 2022, a finalist in The Everyday Group Exhibition at the Corner Store Gallery in Orange 2023, won 2nd place in The Moreton Bay Region Art Awards 2021 and has shown in Italy as part of the international watercolour exhibition ‘Fabriano In Acquerello’ 2023.
