Bibliography:
2020 reignited my love for being creative, I began painting during the many lockdowns in my home studio. I continued my practice by enrolling in a part time course and for a couple of hours a week spending time being creative with a collective group.
Living on the captivating Bellarine Peninsula, I am influenced strongly by the natural world around me. I enjoy painting while immersing myself in the local environment.
Drawing inspiration from the rich flora of this region and the profound sense of place it instils, I find my creative muse in the local surroundings.
Nature's ever-turning cycles—the dance of seasons and the celestial cadence of lunar rhythms—fascinate me. I stand in awe of its power to heal and nurture, a reverence that breathes.
Painting, for me, is a serene escape from the hustle of everyday life. With each brushstroke, I endeavour to capture those fleeting moments, inviting viewers to pause and embrace the beauty of our environment.
My aspiration is to convey the essence of nature's remarkable beauty, with each soothing brushstroke marking a step towards deeper understanding and appreciation of the world that surrounds us.
